Devastating diagnosis
Insulin dependent for life
Always on alert
Blood sugar roller coasters
Eat everything but count the carbs
Test throughout the day
Every day, every hour, every minute
Sugar is medicine

  1. Denise, I know Diabetes is something you wish you didn't know so much about, but you have taught me so much about it. Before I knew you, I had so many misconceptions about it and NEVER knew the severity of the illness. Now it is one of those things that I feel connected to and hope all the time for a cure. You are a wonderful ambassador for this horrible disease.
